Rich McKay is the president and general manager of the NFL's Atlanta Falcons. He was the general manager of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when we won Super Bowl XXXVII. Rich is the son of the late John McKay, (the first head coach of the Buc's). Rich was even a ballboy for the Buccaneers when John McKay was the coach. Before leaving for the NFL, McKay was an attorney with the Tampa law firm of Hill, Ward & Henderson.
Rich McKay earned his bachelor's degree from Princeton University in 1981 and graduated from Stetson University College of Law in 1984. He graduated from Jesuit High School of Tampa in 1977, (he was the quarterback of the football team). Rich is a great family man who loves Tampa and who grew up here. We were all sad to see him leave the area.
